The pastor began the International Charismatic Mission church in 1983, with eight people in the living room of his house. He believed in God through moments of adversity, he did not look at the circumstances and he cried out for a revival in his nation. Since then, many people began to attend the church for the miracles they would receive. There, God began to bring a revival to the church and to the nation. The MCI church now counts on about 200,000 cells in Bogota and 60,000 cells in the city. In Colombia, there are 127 International Charismatic Mission headquarters and approximately 40 in different countries. On the other hand, the pastor also has developed within his church a model and vision known as G12. It is a model based on Jesus’ ministry; he specializes in making disciples and to fulfill the great commission. God has used Pastor Castellanos to motivate thousands of leaders and pastors around the world.

Through her teachings, Claudia Rodriguez Castellanos has managed to strengthen the spiritual and integral leadership of women around the world. Her words of faith have changed the nature of thousands of women; as well as their teachings on the tribute and the value of people in the ministry. She has visited countless nations with the objective of teaching and to sharing the purpose God has for women. Now, she is a Senator of the Republic of Colombia, while at the same time still exercising the pastoral work she has done since the year of 1997. At that time, she received a special call to assume leadership in the ministry along with her husband. At the end of the nineties, the international network of women was established where almost 14 thousand women congregated, not alone in the city of Bogota but in other regions as well.
